We’re passionate about building a community of writers and book lovers.

Our Difference

The greatest gift of this writing life is in our relationships with each other. It’s not prestige, publication, money, or prizes (I mean, those are nice and all); but the truest gift is the company we keep.

The three of us became fast friends, and what sustains us is curiosity, humility, and a love of books and words. It’s not transactional; it’s “a commerce of ideas,” in the words of Lewis Hyde, author of The Gift.

We want to share that with you.

Our workshops are designed to build community and friendships; to generate new work, discuss the craft of writing, and read together. Against the backdrop of various UNESCO Cities of Literature, we will let the world be our classroom.

The a-la-carte offerings are designed with a low price point, and our accommodations are comfortable, central, walkable, and affordable.

As we continue to build this community, we hope to offer partial tuition scholarships in the future.
