The World is Our Workshop
The World through a Literary Lens
To be a writer is to be a thoughtful, curious, and kind citizen of the world.
We’re crafting deep, meaningful, and place-based literary experiences against the backdrop of various UNESCO Cities of Literature. We’ll travel the world as lovers of writers, writing, and books.
We’re writer’s writers. We believe that time, solitude, generosity, and cultural immersion are important to the process of creating our work, so with that in mind, we founded The Writers’ Collective.
We are uniquely focused on nonfiction in all its forms––memoir, creative nonfiction, essay, hybrid work––and our aim is to use the world as our classroom.
We want to help you write your best work, find supportive communities, make lasting friendships, and experience the globe together through the lens of literature.
We’ll begin in Dublin, Ireland––July 10-20, 2026––for a literary experience steeped in community, collaboration, and shared experience. The city will be our living laboratory
